Biopunk (My Additional Question)

I guess the question I would ask is if thelaw is so worried that Biopunks are doing something so wrong then why don't they give them someplace to work and monitor them? I mean I know that would cost a lot, but you wouldnt have to worry about anyone really doing something with bacteria that can kill a lot people. It would also make everything safe for them not doing it in their living space.

  1. I like that you suggest for there to be common space, working areas for biopunks. Not only would they have the ability to cultivate ideas together, but also this allows them to work in a safe environment while being monitored for any safety issues. This would hopefully eliminate the tension between the public spheres.

  2. I completely agree with you.Why would you not let the amateurs come in and have a go at trying to figure out a problem? That way there is definitely no way that something could go wrong, and if something did go wrong it could be fixed easily. I realized it would take a bit of money, but I would rather spend an few extra bucks then have a strain of a certain disease run rampant because of a mistake.
